Ned Dowd is one of the film industry’s leading producers. A former pro ice-hockey player, he debuted in 1975 on the Paul Newman film "Slap Shot" as both an actor and stunt co-ordinator.

As head of production for Caravan Pictures, he oversaw a production slate of 32 feature films including the box-office hits:

  • Grosse Pointe Blank (1997)
  • Metro (1997)
  • While You Were Sleeping (1995)
  • Angels in the Outfield (1994).
